K-6 PARENT WORKSHOPS
September 27 & 29 – We will be offering parent workshops that give you, as parents, the opportunity to participate in one of the student’s morning classes on Tuesday or Thursday and then give the parents time to digest and learn more about what the students have been doing in class. We will be focusing on ways to implement what you see at home or to be able to take the study further. Each of these sessions will be unique to the enrichment class we are focusing on that week. For this session we will be visiting the Passport to the Planets class which meets in the Valley Oak room. We will start in the classroom with the students.

Thursday, Sept. 29 at 9:00 – 3rd/4th grade 10:00 – Kindergarten

“ERCLC WALKS THE WORLD”
Walk, run, bike, swim or crawl, consider having your student join our community in traversing 25,000 miles around the world. Log how many miles you exercise in one week and come to Heather’s office window and log it next to your name. We will be logging miles until we reach our goal. Each student who participates, (we’re working on the honor system) in achieving our goal will receive a pedometer. Staff is logging their miles too!
The Deep Dive class is starting fundraising by selling pizza during lunch times on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the class weeks starting September 6th. Please check in the day before at the Friends of ERCLC Facebook page to reserve your slices. We will always order extra but RSVPing helps us get an accurate count. Pizza is $2 per slice. Thank you, once again, for supporting our travelers!
