ERCLC offers a wide variety of options for high school students. Most of our high school students take advantage of our flexible schedule and begin working or taking college classes while also working towards their high school diploma. Each option below allows students tremendous opportunity to begin their college or career journey before graduation.

Venice On-Campus Core Classes (college-prep)

Writing Is Thinking

This class meets twice a week and is taught by a credentialed English teacher. This course includes literature analysis, essay writing in MLA format, class discussions, and group presentations.

Integrated Math I, II and III

This class meets twice a week and is taught by a credentialed math teacher. This class focuses on peer-to-peer teaching and learning in a collaborative and supportive setting. Advanced math beyond Integrated Math III is available upon request.

World History/US History

These subjects alternate each year and are taught by a credentialed history teacher. This class includes textbook-based assignments, class discussions, and group presentations.

Ag Biology/Ag Chemistry

These subjects alternate each year and are taught by a credentialed Ag teacher. This class includes textbook-based assignments, class discussions, weekly labs and group presentations and each topic has a direct correlation with the agriculture industry. 

Earth Science/Environmental Science

These subjects alternate each year and are taught by a credentialed science teacher. This class includes textbook-based assignments, class discussions, weekly labs and group presentations.

Physics

This class is taught by a credentialed math teacher. This class includes textbook-based assignments, class discussions, and weekly labs.
