Enrollment
Step 1: Choose Between Two Unique Options
Option 1: Venice Enrichment Campus
The Venice Enrichment Campus is located at 31191 Road 180 in Visalia, CA. The historic Venice Campus option includes 2 days of enrichment classes at our beautiful country campus. TK-6 students can choose to attend on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9am-2:45pm. Students can choose from a variety of enrichment classes throughout the day, each taught by our highly qualified staff. Secondary students in grades 7-12 can choose to attend on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-4pm. High School students can choose between on-campus college preparatory classes, career technical education, and performing arts, or they can take advantage of our flexible scheduling and enroll in community college classes while also completing their high school graduation requirements. Our enrichment options change each semester, and include performing arts, visual arts, outdoor activities, 4-H, and so much more! Space is limited in this program, and there is a wait list.
Option 2: Downtown Visalia Resource Center
The Downtown Visalia Resource Center is located at 900 W. Oak Avenue in Visalia, CA. This option is for those seeking freedom, choice, support, and independence while homeschooling. Families in this program receive a healthy vendor allowance to purchase additional enrichment opportunities in our community. Families can use their vendor funds for martial arts, dance, gymnastics, music lessons, and so much more! Our downtown resource center includes a variety of learning spaces, outdoor space, and a library. This is also a great option for families who are waiting to get into the Venice Enrichment program and are on the waiting list.
Step 2: Apply
When you apply, you will be asked to select Option 1 or Option 2. Please make sure to complete the entire application. Our Downtown Visalia Resource Center option typically has availability sooner than our Venice Enrichment Campus.

Step 3: Random Drawing
Our lottery drawing is held each year in March. Email notifications will be sent to eligible families after our drawing in March. There will be informational meetings and tours held in April and May for families who accept an enrollment offer. Please be advised that each year our openings change based on returning students in each grade level.
Step 4: Accept Your Enrollment
All communication regarding enrollment is done through email. Offers may arrive as early as March or as late as June. Please check your email regularly during our active enrollment period. Any enrollment not accepted within 14 calendar days will be moved to our inactive list.
Once a student accepts their enrollment, the family will receive an email regarding orientation dates. Orientation for new families is mandatory. After orientation is complete, you may decide if homeschooling at ERCLC is right for you. Please notify the school immediately if you decide not to finalize the enrollment process.
The final phase of the enrollment process is to complete a series of enrollment forms. Please check your email after orientation for a link to each required document. Please submit all completed forms before the first day of school in August.
